August Virtual Certification Details
The August Virtual Certification program is just less than a month away. We are looking forward to you joining us!
Session Details
Here are a few details to help you prepare for our time together
These live sessions will be held through Zoom meetings, using several of Zoom’s interactivity tools to encourage participation. You will need to download the Zoom app onto your computer and have enough internet bandwidth that you can run the Zoom program smoothly.
The week before the events you will be receiving an email with a zoom meeting invitation to each course you are attending, ie. if you are attending all three certification courses, you will receive 3 separate emails from us inviting you to each respective course. Each email will include a link to that course’s zoom meeting as well as dial-in information. Please accept the invitation(s) so we know that you have received the Zoom meeting information. Also, we will be opening the zoom meeting approximately 15 – 20 minutes before the beginning of the course so everyone can be online and ready at the course’s start time.
The schedule for the virtual program is:
CQ Certification: Monday and Tuesday, August 3 – 4, 2020
- 6pm – 10pm Eastern Time (NY), Monday, August 3
- 6pm – 10pm Eastern Time (NY), Tuesday, August 4
CQ Train-The-Trainer: Wednesday, and Thursday, August 5 – 6, 2020
- 6pm – 10pm Eastern Time (NY), Wednesday, August 5
- 6pm – 10pm Eastern Time (NY), Thursday, August 6
Unconscious Bias Train-The-Trainer: Monday and Tuesday, August 10 – 11, 2020
- 6pm – 9:30pm Eastern Time (NY), Monday, August 10
- 6pm – 9:30pm Eastern Time (NY), Tuesday, August 11
You will note that the live course time is shorter because of the virtual format. However, you will be required to complete additional pre-course work that will enable the facilitators to make the live course as interactive as possible. Please be assured that you will receive the same information through the virtual course work as you would in a face-to-face program.
Please note that you will receive emails from us that will contain the links to provide you with access to the pre-course work and course materials that you will need for the CQ Certification, CQ Train-The-Trainer and Unconscious Bias Train-the-Trainer courses. Because certain participants are only taking certain courses, we had to provide a separate link for each of the course materials. Therefore, you will need to click on each individual link in order to populate each course’s materials into your CQ Portal.
All pre-course work must be completed before you begin your certification course. You will not receive your certification until all e-learning has been completed. The pre-course work should take between 3-6 hours total.
If you are attending multiple programs, please complete the CQ Certification pre-course work first! It is vital to your understanding of the CQ concepts that you complete the CQ Certification pre-course work before completing the CQ Train-The-Trainer and/or Unconscious Bias Train-The-Trainer pre-course work.
Please note that the order of the coursework found under My Resources in your CQ Portal will likely be opposite to the order you should complete it, ie. the CQ Certification materials will at the bottom of the page. Scroll down on the My Resources page to find each group of materials.

For CQ Certification, you will be required to complete the MyCQ Pro e-learning program and the CQ 360 Assessment.
This is located in your CQ Portal under My Dashboard. Click on My Dashboard on the upper left corner of your CQ Portal screen, and you will see the MyCQ Pro program on the right. You cannot begin MyCQ Pro until you have completed your assessment. (You can start MyCQ Pro before your observers complete the assessment.
Additional CQ Certification pre-course reading and course materials will be found under My Resources. Click on My Resources in the upper left corner of your CQ Portal, and you will see the list of CQ Certification pre-course reading on the right.
The additional articles and videos labeled “CQ Certification Digital Materials for Class” do not need to be reviewed before the course begins.
