Hi I'm Polly Collingridge
I’m Senior Client Consultant for the Cultural Intelligence Centre and have experience supporting Cultural Intelligence programmes for many different private and public sector clients, including the NHS.
Before working for the Cultural Intelligence Centre, I provided my own intercultural training and worked for a start-up in the global mobility and employee wellbeing space that focused on holistic support for employees and their families. My early career was in book publishing and for over a decade I ran the international rights department of the publishing company, Canongate Books, and sat on their board. I have an MSc in Cross-Cultural Psychology and a degree in Italian and Spanish. Although I was born and (mostly) raised in London, I have also lived in Italy, Costa Rica, Mexico, and the USA.
I have always been fascinated by communicating across cultures and languages – even teaching myself the basics of Esperanto at the age of 10! I’m passionate about the role of CQ in helping us work towards a more equitable society in which we all understand ourselves and each other a little better.
