Over 700 educators from universities and colleges across the U.S. were introduced to cultural intelligence last month at the Association for American Colleges & Universities annual Diversity, Equity and Inclusive Democracy Conference in San Diego. We’ve made participation in these conferences a top priority this year so that we can learn with and support educational leaders who are creating diverse, equitable, and inclusive campus environments. Topics ranged from faculty engagement to free speech to unconscious bias on campus. Every single conversation was a reminder that diversity initiatives have limited effectiveness without CQ added to the mix. We look forward to staying engaged in the conversation!
