Catalyst, a highly successful leadership development program at Coca-Cola, uses cultural intelligence as a key part of helping the participants develop their global leadership skills. 50 high performing leaders are selected for the program from across the company’s global talent pool and they embark on an intense, six-month experience including training, coaching, and working collaboratively across the globe to address key business challenges that are assigned to 5-6 Catalyst teams.
The 2016 Catalyst program launched in May and will continue through November. Each participant took the CQ Multi-Rater Assessment, attended a de-brief session on how to interpret the results, and created a development plan for using Catalyst to improve their CQ. In addition, the participants will have further sessions with their project teams, coaches, and the Cultural Intelligence Center to ensure they use CQ to prepare an effective, innovative solution for the company’s most senior executive team.
