The CQ® Leadership Academy is a 6-month, cohort-based professional certification, all of which is completed virtually. Our Academy combines our gold standard research-based methodology, assessments, strategies, certification programs, and digital tools led by our team of experts who have decades of experience building culturally intelligent organisations. Peer-to-peer connections and idea-sharing are a critical part of the experience.

Co-designed by Kristin Ekkens and David Livermore, the CQ® Leadership Academy includes:

These include the complete courses offered as a part of our standard certification and train-the-trainer programs with the added value of customized content and facilitation that is oriented to senior-level HR leaders and completed with a group of professional peers.

  • 3 CQ MasterMind Sessions: Building a CQ Organisation, Scaling & Framing, and Designing the CQ Roadmap.

These bi-monthly sessions combine the expertise from our research combined with the experienced insights of other cohort members to help you solve your internal challenges. Each participant will have a chance to bring a real-life issue to the group and gain personalized direction.

  • Personalized Coaching: Each month, one-on-one coaching and/or small group sessions are available for additional consulting, giving you direct access to our team when you need it.
  • Individualized Feedback for your CQ Roadmap: The Academy culminates with you completing a CQ Organisational Roadmap to ensure this is more than just a learning experience and instead, translates into organisational results. Feedback will be provided by our team and other cohort participants.

With you at the center of the design, this experience will support you in creating a sustainable and scalable model for change in your organisation.

Requirements for CQ Leadership Certificate:

  • Participation in all 3 certifications (CQ, UB TTT, CQ TTT)

  • Certificate of Completion that can be shared and added to your social media accounts

Lead Facilitator | Kristin Ekkens, MA, CQ Master Trainer & Consultant, Certified Diversity Executive (CDE)

Kristin Ekkens is a Consultant with the CQ Center. She brings extensive CQ expertise to the table, both as our former Director of Corporate Partnerships, as well as previously overseeing the diversity and inclusion efforts at a hospital and healthcare system with over 25,000 employees. Kristin has several years of experience living and working in a variety of cultures and has done extensive training with students, working professionals, and leaders. She has a graduate degree in TESOL and is fluent in Spanish.

In addition, David Livermore, Linn Van Dyne, and other leading thought leaders In cultural intelligence, global leadership, and DEI will participate across the MasterClass and MasterMind sessions.

  • Access to MyUB™ and MyCV e-learning courses
  • Expand Your Borders, Leading with Cultural Intelligence, Driven by Difference, and a series of other readings.
  • Full set of materials for teaching CQ and Unconscious bias workshops (reproducible participant guides, facilitator manuals, slides, videos. Case studies, etc.)
  • “Now What? CQ Implementation Plan”
  • Case Studies with complete teaching notes

Requirements for CQ Leadership Certificate:

Fees & Cancellation Policy

Registration Fees: USD $13,500

Payment and Shipping Policy

Full payment is due upon registration or within 10 business days of receiving an invoice. CQ Center will not ship any course materials until registration is paid in full. We cannot guarantee receipt of course materials if registration is paid fewer than 30 days prior to the course start, but we will attempt to send them in time.

Transfer Policy

Registration tuition is nonrefundable. However, we will allow a registrant the one-time option to transfer their registration to another available session within one calendar year, so long as written (email) notice is provided to the CQ Center 10 days prior to the course start date. If a registrant provides less than 10 days’ notice of a transfer request, an administrative fee of £200 will be assessed.

If a registrant fails to attend a course and no notice is provide before the course start, that individual will be considered a “no-show” and will not be eligible for a refund or to transfer that registration.

We reserve the right to cancel a certification session 30 days out. Full refunds will be given if we do so.
