New Research Supports The Need For CQ To Get Diverse Teams to Speak Up

The more diversity you have, the less likely people are to speak up… unless you build CQ.

The more “cultural distance” among diverse team members, the more difficult it is to get people to speak up. Newly published research by the leading CQ researchers demonstrates that cultural intelligence buffers the negative relationship between cultural distance and voice behavior. Results also show this buffering effect applies to how team members speak up to each other and to their supervisors.
