The CQ Center has been partnering with the Smith School of Business at Queen’s University for several years. We’ve always been proud of their commitment and efforts to develop the cultural intelligence of their students. But there’s nothing like hearing about the impact directly from the students. Alumni Tiffany James learned about CQ while pursuing her Master’s in International Business at Smith School of Business. Tiffany was recently featured in Women of Influence, one of Canada’s leading women’s magazine. In the article she acknowledged how CQ helped her land her dream job at L’Oréal Paris and almost immediately after starting as a Global Project Manager, she was able to see the need for cultural intelligence while working with people from the U.S., Japan, India, China, and across Europe. Her CQ has allowed her to communicate cross-culturally and thrive in her leadership role. Kudos to Queens for making CQ a core requirement in their business programs!
