Rob Neil

Rob Neil, OBE is former civil servant with 38yrs experience working across Whitehall and the UK Parliament. With a professional anchor in human resources (HR), Rob studied at the Civil Service College in Sunningdale for two years, graduating with a Certificate in Training Practice (2000) and is currently a member of CIPD.

As a pioneering founder of the Black Staff Network at the Ministry of Justice (PROUD), Rob then became the first elected chair of the Civil Service Race Equality Network growing that network across 32 Government Departments to over 6,000 members.

Rob was introduced to CQ during his time as the Head of Culture Change at the Department for Education (DfE) in 2019. Rob then enrolled in the Facilitators Masterclass Programme run by Above Difference before leading the integration of CQ into existing training programs at the DfE.

Rob has been a Trustee with RELATE for eleven years and also volunteers as the Social Media Director with the Reach Society @ReachSociety10.

Rob was awarded an OBE in the 2018 New Year’s Honours list for ‘Services to Race Equality in the workplace and the community’.

Rob founded and runs his own consultancy – Krystal Alliance (KA) – which supports organisations across all sectors to be more inclusive.

Rob lives with his wife and their two children in Harrow, England.
